Last Sunday, September 18, 2022, ERIEC Mentees and RBC Mentors met for a networking gathering with their families. While mentees expanded their professional network, their families, especially the kids, had lots of fun with Dan the Balloon Man and Kate the Face Painting Artist.
Folake Okusanya is the Team Lead of the RBC Meeting Place initiative. She has also supported many Newcomers under the ERIEC Connector Program. She enjoys the fulfillment that comes from making a difference by providing insights and suggestions to internationally educated professionals.
Cheryl Wang is the Employer Engagement Coordinator with the Autism CanTech! Program at NorQuest College. As a Connector, she is passionate about supporting newcomers and introducing them to potential opportunities. Jingyang Gao is one of her Connectees. We had a brief interview with them.
