For over 18 years, ERIEC’s mission has been to integrate newcomers into the workforce through award-winning programs. We quickly realized this work requires more than working with employees; it also involves helping employers find creative pathways through hiring bottlenecks and supporting employees as they navigate the Canadian workplace.

ERIEC has developed several employer-focused programs:

YEG Connect: Find recruitment, hiring, and onboarding tips and resources inspired by conversations with Edmonton-area employers.

Alberta Immigrant Mentorship Network: Empowering employers in small centres to connect with the newcomer employee.

YEG Connect is engaging directly with employers across multiple sectors in Edmonton to hear their hiring concerns firsthand.

Using what they learn from these conversations, YEG Connect is creating easy-to-read, research-based resources tailored to assist employers in moments of uncertainty.

The Alberta Immigrant Mentorship Network (AIMN) is building a culture of career mentorship across the province.
