Calgary Region Immigrant Employment Council (CRIEC) staff and Edmonton Region Immigrant Employment Council (ERIEC) staff all met together to discuss each city’s program approaches, outcomes and to explore new ideas and efficiencies.
The Edmonton Region Immigrant Employment Council (ERIEC) received the BUILDING FUTURES AWARD. This award recognizes a group or organization that demonstrates an exceptional commitment to innovative engagement with immigrants, with the goal of creating a more welcoming and inclusive community for all.
Our second event for this year’s Smart Connections program series was themed Alternative Career Paths, hosted by the Edmonton Region Immigrant Employment Council (ERIEC ) and was held yesterday, September 26th, 2019 at the Matrix Hotel, Edmonton. A total of 135 internationally educated professionals attended the event!
Yesterday Aug 26th 2019, a group of representatives from immigrant service providing agencies participated in an immigration focused roundtable discussion on the Fair Registration Practices Act, organized by the Ministry of Labour and Immigration and hosted by NorQuest College.
