With this in mind, it is a good time to explore alternative career paths that could result in steady employment and growth opportunities for your future. Join representatives from NorQuest College to explore some potential in-demand career paths, and learn how to get started with your new career.
Learn about Career Moves, an online, self-paced professional development program supporting mid-career workers in their transition to new employment and career opportunities. Career Moves provides one-on-one coaching, self-assessment, skill development, opportunities for work-integrated learning and connecting with employers, and a tuition credit of up to $2,000 to support further education.
Career Loans provides career counselling and microloans of up to $15,000 to help skilled immigrants fulfill their career goals in Canada.
In addition, we met with representatives from the health care and continuing care to learn more about their current hiring practice.
