The Rural Women Entrepreneurs-in-Technology (RWEIT) program is a free program that supports women entrepreneurs across Alberta.
If you are a woman, located in Alberta who currently owns a business or are considering opening a business, and are interested in incorporating technology into your business, this program is for you.
The RWEIT offers free programming and advising for all women entrepreneurs at any stage of business.
The RWEIT has a workshop series starting in February specific to women newcomers, permanent residents and/or refugees in Alberta.
It is called Demystifying IP for Newcomers and all newcomer female entrepreneurs are welcome to join us.
This 3-part on-line workshop series looks at defining Intellectual Property, how IP works in Canada and how to legally protect your ideas and products in a safe and inclusive environment. Of course, this series is completely free.
