Government of Canada Initiative: All Hands on Science!

Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO) is pleased to announce the launch of our nationwide employment equity recruitment initiative, All Hands on Science!

At Fisheries and Oceans Canada (DFO), we protect and manage Canada’s oceans, fisheries, including aquaculture all while supporting a diverse participation in fisheries. DFO wants to help build Canada’s next generation of science professionals! The department is launching a nationwide recruitment initiative to hire passionate science individuals in various occupational groups who have self-identified to belonging to any employment equity groups (indigenous peoples, visible minorities, persons with a disability, women). This initiative is focusing on providing learning and development opportunities to upcoming graduate students, postgraduate students, entry and middle-level professionals. DFO has opportunities across the Department from coast to coast to coast and we are looking for new talent to join our team!

Candidates do not need to attend the info session to complete their application. However, joining us on April 5th will give you an opportunity to learn more about this initiative and the application process and still allow you sufficient time to submit your application.
