This 6-month free program is offered by Edmonton Mennonite Centre for Newcomers (EMCN) and provides 16 weeks of FT employment preparation classes and 10 weeks of FT work experience with an Edmonton-area employer in any industry supporting project management.
Who is eligible?
Applicants should meet the following requirements:
- Direct experience or interest in project management. Note that CF is not a construction-focused program. We have participants with backgrounds in IT, construction, manufacturing, non-profit, healthcare, engineering, business, etc. Project management exists across so many industries!
- Minimum language proficiency of CLB 6
- Currently unemployed or working less than 20 hours a week
- Degree or diploma from a university outside of Canada
- Living in Alberta
