Last week, ERIEC hosted an exciting Lunch and Learn Networking Event in collaboration with TELUS. Held in a dynamic and welcoming setting, the event brought together five TELUS mentors and ten ERIEC mentees for an afternoon of meaningful conversations, professional insights, and career-building connections.
The event kicked off with a networking lunch, where participants had the opportunity to interact informally and build rapport. The atmosphere was filled with curiosity and engagement as mentees shared their career aspirations and mentors offered valuable guidance on navigating the Canadian job market.
The structured speed networking sessions that followed were a highlight. Each mentee rotated between mentors, allowing for personalized discussions and the chance to ask questions about working at TELUS, industry trends, and strategies for professional growth. Some key discussion points included:

- Career pathways: How to identify growth opportunities within large organizations.
