A message from Alberta Workforce Essential Skills ( AWES )

We are excited to share a new safety training course for the trucking and hauling industry that AWES has created in partnership with the Alberta Motor Transport Association ( AMTA ).

The Aggregate Hauling Equipment Training course is a self-paced online course that helps workers in the trucking and hauling industry develop the skills needed to work safely and efficiently.

AWES is offering access to the course at no cost for the first 100 participants!

The course is designed for newcomers with intermediate English, but anyone working in the industry or looking to begin a career in aggregate hauling can take the training.

Course content adheres to Alberta legislation and was developed with Alberta Motor Transport Association (AMTA).

The training includes realistic scenarios, aggregate hauling tasks, and language and skill-building activities created by AWES that make it more accessible to newcomers.
