Accelerated Cybersecurity Training Program

The Accelerated Cybersecurity Training Program is a 7 month, intensive cybersecurity training and certification program designed to give promising candidates the skills they need to launch careers in cybersecurity, provided by Ryerson University. The Program is tuition-free through the support of the Government of Canada, Rogers Communications, and Royal Bank of Canada. The value of the program is $25,000 CAD per student. Upon acceptance into the program, a $500 registration fee is required.

Canada has announced the resettlement of up to 20,000 vulnerable Afghan nationals to Canada. This will be done through 2 programs. Alberta’s response: Refugee Sponsorship Training Program (RSTP) in partnership with the Edmonton Catholic Social Services and Calgary Catholic Immigration Society (CCIS) is pleased to offer a series of information sessions on the Private Sponsorship of Refugees (PSR) program. Individuals and groups can join one of the Zoom presentations and learn how to sponsor refugees.
