Food Banks Alberta’s Executive Director Stephanie Walsh-Rigby met with Neha Kulshrestha. Neha is an HR Professional and is a CPHR candidate. She reached out to be a part of the Connecter Program as she is looking forward to gaining more insight and feedback for self-improvement and guidance in pursuing her HR recruiter career in Edmonton.
Ron Graham helps newcomers because he loves helping people. But Ron can also thank his love of connecting people for a personal connection of his own: he met his wife while taking Spanish lessons. Now married 25 years, he and Theresa are building a retirement home in her native Peru.
Stephen is interested in expanding his network within the information technology sector. Ron’s IT experience and connections with various organizations made him the ‘right fit’ to assist Stephen to navigate the field right here in the Edmonton region.
The Connector Program is a formalized networking initiative that helps professional immigrants broaden their professional network through one-on-one meetings with established business leader peers who work in the same field.
