EPL is offering free legal information sessions (Know Your Legal Rights) in partnership with the Edmonton Community Legal Centre
Sessions are held at the Stanley A. Milner Library (downtown) and registration is not required.

Thursday, November 30: Family Law – Property Division
6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Going through separation is challenging. This presentation is for people who have recently separated and are trying to divide their property. This presentation will go over the property division laws in Alberta, how to determine what laws relate to you, and property division agreements.
Thursday, December 14 – Employee Rights
6:00 pm – 8:00 pm
Understanding the law as an employee will empower you ensure you are being treated fairly at work. This presentation will go over, amongst other points, your rights and obligations as an employee, the minimum standards and rules are surrounding pay and hours, and where to seek help is an issue arises.
