AGM reaffirms strategic direction
Attendees at the ERIEC Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Wednesday, Sept. 22 got the message loud and clear: the organization’s broad foundation of achievements forms the stepping stone for its critically important work to move forward over the next year.
The new ERIEC Board builds on the strength of the previous Board, enhancing our ability to promote our messages throughout our key stakeholder networks, maintain the initiatives already underway and investigate the feasibility of new ventures.

Mentorship program scores results
The Career Mentorship Program hit the ground running in 2009. Ten internationally trained professionals were paired with Canadian mentors with similar professional backgrounds to learn how to conduct a successful job search in Canada and to become more familiar with Canadian workplace culture.
Sule (Olugbenga) Mohammed’s dedication to his career and desire for a high quality of life for himself and his family took him on a long journey from his native Nigeria to Edmonton.
